Calendar Groups
Berkeley Events is divided into individual calendar groups that are managed semi-independently by each unit. The Campuswide calendar is an aggregate of all calendars.
Featured Events
The Featured Events calendar is managed by Strategic Communications and features events that are suggested to the calendar by individual calendar groups around campus. This calendar group is used to generate the content that is found on the Berkeley Events homepage. Strategic Communications reserves the right to add and edit events on the Featured Events calendar.
Events suggested to the Featured Events calendar must meet content accessibility standards, including use of headings, images, links. Failure to use accessible content may result in disapproval of your event. All featured events must have an accessible image.
Managing your calendar group
In order to manage events in your calendar group, you will need to login to the system. This has been set-up as an SSO and you will continue to login via your CalNet account.

If you don’t have a departmental calendar, you can submit an event for approval by a calendar manager.
